Cousins Camp: Day 4
One of our favorite things to do in Montana is go camping and boating at the lake.  It was so nice to have the older boys there to take the younger kids on the boat.  We prepared to cook foil dinners on a fire but learned that they had just banned fires.  So I paid for a cube of butter from the camp host and we made hamburgers and fried potatoes in the camper.  We also found some Top Ramen in the camper for those kids that couldn't wait to eat.  It's all about how you handle plan B!  Hopefully our blaring fire alarm didn't bother too many neighbors.  The three boys drove home and slept and returned at 6:00 in the morning so they could wake board on the best water. I was surprised they made it back so early.  The rest of us snuggled in the camper and slept pretty good.

Cousins Camp Day 3:
We spent the day at a friend's of Becca.  The kids were in heaven with all the animals and mountain landscape.  The cats were a hit.
Along with the horses.  We were even able to run with them.
This girl was more interested in the baby than the animals.  She held her as much as she was allowed.
This cat was the best sport of the day.  Between B girl and her cousin it was carried around ALL day.
While the little kids were at the farm, the three bigger boys took the boat out and went boating all day by themselves.  Scary but exciting for them.  They did good.

That night we traveled to visit Jim's family.
Uncle Greg was the best as he taught the little kids how to shoot bows and arrows.

Uncle Ron organized a little basketball game with the neighbors to show his nephews that he still has it, even at 54 years old! He came back very proud that Z, M and him had won their friendly 3 on 3 pick-up game.
And she talked and talked and talked to her cousin.

The best thing for the little girls was the hedgehog.  Just like the cat earlier today, they didn't put it down.

Cousins Camp: Day 2
While the girls did baptisms, the sisters also served in the temple!
Then it was the boys turn for shopping and lunch.
Lunch took a little longer than usual.  Steak-n-shake forgot about us, then wouldn't serve us our shakes outside.  After 35 minutes, we left.

And ate at Fuddruckers!  The boys were devastated when we left Steak-n-Shake because they were so hungry, but as soon as their food came they were happy boys.
It was a great shopping day for the boys.

The Jett came running in the door, out of breath telling me to grab my camera and hurry outside.  How nice of this neighbor to give the boys a quick ride!  They have been visiting this horse all week. I guess it paid off.

That afternoon we watched Z at the BYU lacrosse camp and then picked up Abs from the BYU cheerleading camp.  Brooklyn wants to go someday!
We had to try a SWIG cookie while we were there and they were to die for!!!!!

It's not summer without our favorite pool! We spent the entire day camped out by the diving pool.
Crazy kids all day! Gainers, flips, crazy dives.  HELP!
After M successfully landed a double gainer off the first platform, his little brother decided to top him and attempt a double gainer off the second platform.

Well, it didn't go very well and he landed on his ribcage with a hard smack.  Seconds later, as he was trying to swim to the side, he passed out and started sinking.  I started screaming at the lifeguards, who were not looking, and ran over to the side.  Soon four lifeguards were in the pool with him and the others were clearing out the pool.  Because he passed out and they didn't see the accident they forced him on a stretcher in the pool, which he resisted because when he gained consciousness he was wondering what these crazy people were doing to him.  They finally got him out of the pool and we had to wait for the paramedics to arrive to release him.  I knew he was going to be fine as soon as he came to.  The EMTs confirmed that he had the wind knocked out of him and that he passed out but would be fine.  Sorry to all the other swimmers who had to wait 25 minute for this fun ordeal.  We counted our blessings today!!!

Today was the local parade!  With Jim and pink out of town and B girl in the parade, it was just me and the boys.
"Candy over here!"

She was so focussed,  I was lucky to get this shot!

Later in the day we went to the park for the festivities and watched fireworks!
