Today we traveled to Las Vegas for the Best of the West Tournament!

It rained the entire drive down and M had his first game at 9:00 p.m. (10:00 our time)

He was feeling the love today at school when he was showered with birthday cards from his entire class! Love it. (He hasn't parted from his basketball since his party on Saturday). 

Then it was back to the grind.  End of the month book report again…they come so fast!

Super fun and super tiring day!

This mother our ours was a determined trooper!  She made it up the 1.25 mile rock climbing hike (and back down again… total of 2 1/2 miles).  Her theme was "THE HIKE WAS GREAT AT 78!)

Today we did a little President's Day shopping and came home with her 1st pair of heels!

This is one excited girl!  

Also purchased the yellow scarf and some items for our girl's trip this weekend!

Today the boys spent a few minutes teaching this girl the basics of lacrosse.

This is her waiting for them to go out and play with her again, which they did for another 30 minutes.  Who knows, maybe we have another future lacrosse player in the family.

Last indoor Lacrosse games today!

Both boys crushed in the semi-final game but were crushed in the championship game!

They both played great though!

Had to document the new high score!  

Too much time on his hands I guess.

In Lacrosse the older boys are mentors to the younger boys!  

M's mentor surprised him with this huge cookie valentine today.  

He was so disciplined and waited until I took a picture before he dug in.  

He knows me so well…Love it!

This was the only picture I took all day.  We had a very low key valentines day! We ate Spaghetti Factory take-out with the family and then enjoyed a movie in bed!

Cara told me about 12 on the 12th and I'm going to try it out today.
1. Heart that hangs on my front door
2. Second trip to the grocery store (forgot something)
3. My shoes, phone, keys, and jacket while I attempted my Raising the Barre workout class
4. Breakfast
5. Garbage day
6. Teacher Valentines for tomorrow.  Carmel and chocolate covered pretzels.
7. After school down time for the boys, playing Flappy Bird.
8. Made cookies last night to reward good behavior during our talks Sunday.
9. Frosting her own cookie for her after school snack
10. Preparing her Valentines for tomorrow
11. Cleaned out the washing machine and used vinegar and baking soda to wash my stinky towels.
12. Showing his coin collection he made today for scouts.

Sweethearts Dance!

I was so sad that I was not able to take pictures of them tonight.  I took the younger kids to a lax practice.  He texted these to me from his phone and I love them! (Except for the scary eyes)

My kids have loved making these bracelets for about 6 months now.

These are two tired boys and one sympathetic brother.  They had to run the mile today under 6 minutes for lacrosse (outside in the 30 degree weather).  They both did it with 5 and 15 seconds to spare!

One even threw up after! Now they are off to a national team tryout…poor guys!

We tried to get his Learners Permit on his birthday but we missed 

the test cutoff time by 15 minutes.

So today there is a new driver on the roads!

I should have let him practice more in parking lots…SCARY RIDE HOME!!!!!!

Also had a great time working out with this girl, we really did workout.
