We rented bikes and rode around the island. I loved every minute of it.

We had a wonderful lunch then laid at the pool the rest of the day.
What a perfect birthday!

13.1 miles and still smiling!Right after the race my husband surprised me with a birthday trip with 2 of my high-school friends and my sis-in-law. My two friends met me at the finish line and we quickly drove to the airport to catch our flight.

I changed in the airport restroom and YES I stunk,
but I didn't care - I was on my way to the ocean!

This was it.
I met my running partners, we picked up our packets, went out for a carb filled dinner, checked into our hotel, set out our running gear, and tried to go to sleep early so we could be rested up for the next day.

My friend let me borrow a must read...but oddly it disappeared.

When I found strawberries for $0.78 a package,
it became a strawberry jam making day.
I think I am a jam snob, I can't eat store bought.

All my daughter wanted for Christmas was a white board from Santa and Expo markers from mom and dad. Best present ever for this girl. I caught a picture as she was leaving for her friends house, markers in hand.

Fifteen minutes after dinner he still had his broccoli in hand. The next day I found it in the coat closet...little stinker!

It even came with us out to dinner and to the movie.
