I had to take a picture this morning when these two came up and realized they both had on the same outfit. I love this picture because you can tell who lost the argument and has to change. So cute!!!!

It was a super wet, wet weekend. This rainbow's colors were so bright and vivid, I had to take a picture. Along with a dozen others on instagram.
We started our day at 6:30 a.m. and watched our two older sons in a lacrosse tournament and this buddy in his football game. By 2:30 I was ready for a warm bath! The score at the end of his game was not in our favor, but he played as good as any kid could in pouring rain and muddy conditions. The older boys were undefeated in their lacrosse tournament. Too wet for my camera to be out today.
After such a rainy weekend, rain and umbrellas will have a new meaning to me after President Uchtdorf's comparison at The General Women's Conference. Such an uplifting night.

I spy with my little eye…a mom not watching the game but talking to a friend behind her.
Jim was watching the game online on his way to the game and send a picture like this to me on my phone. I wasn't watching in that one either. He's so funny.
Z's other position is the ball holder for extra points. I don't think he has messed up yet.
It rained, then it stopped, it rained and then it stopped…repeated the entire game.
I was glad it was a warm night, just super wet.
These photos and the one of Z's TD last week were taken by one of our team photographers- Carl Schaeffer. So all credit goes to him, he does a great job and I'm so grateful for some close ups of my boy!
P.S. Still undefeated and another great win 48-14
Oh…and this happened tonight.
We received a call from our second son at the end of the game. Let's just say I'm so grateful that he and his friend were both wearing their seat belts and were protected and unharmed. Lesson to be learned about distractive driving! Pay attention and you won't hit a tree and flip on your side! M was not driving but this happened in our neighborhood and it was quite the attention getter.

I was invited on a lunch date with my cute son, in between his dentist and chiropractic appointments! We hope to do this more often, minus the appointments and missing school!
Later in the day we had quite the shopping experience shopping for a friend's birthday party gift. It turned into an entertaining fashion show, silly girls.

Our cute Abby gave us these beautiful flowers as tiny little blooms. We planted them in our yard and they have been so fun to watch grow.

He loves when his brothers come and cheer him on!
Especially when he runs in two 35 yard touchdowns!
Great game bud!

Beautiful night for a football game!
So happy for our Z as he was able to score tonight. He said it was a fun game to play.
A little after game love!

There were some excited girls tonight that there is not school tomorrow. Hey how about a bike show! They practiced and performed for their parents. It was dark by the time they finished and I wish I would have captured a picture of The Jett riding by standing on a bike with one foot in the air. I'm going to miss beautiful nights like this.

It was Pack Meeting tonight.
One red bead earned.
Then it was on to the games. This is the caterpillar walk to show the importance of cooperation.
This was funny.

I'm Back!
And I'm excited to be in YW's again! These are some amazing girls and I feel so lucky and blessed to be able to work with them.
Tonight we walked to the temple. No big deal!

What a reward of hard work!
And that huge carrot is the only one that survived. But is was delicious on our salad tonight!
After dinner we started FHE with the family searching for the missing mail & shed keys that The Jett swung around and let go flying into the air earlier in the day. After many prayers, Pink spied the keys dangling from their shoestring at the tip top our our tree. With help from very kind neighbors, their 20-foot PCP pipe, Z half way up the tree, and the rest of us cheering him on...he was able to maneuver it enough to bring down the beloved and needed keys. That was fun…yikes.
After that we proceeded with finishing our 72-hour kits. This is M in his stored clothes, he was so excited to take this picture. It turned into a late night but we are now ready to go with clothes that fit, food that is fresh and edible, and hopes that we will never need them!

Someone is excited for her birthday in 45 days!
Our usual Sunday night entertainment! A full show of dancing and singing all made up by her, tonight we were even welcomed with programs. Her siblings are the best sports (even if a few of them are not paying attention). I hope they have fond memories of this.

We were so sad it was the last day of our conference. Next year... here we come! Along with all the knowledge we learned, meeting moms from all over the country was a highlight. They loved Utah and it's beauty, and we were proud to call it our home.
Tonight was homecoming for Z!
Who lends two teenage boys their Porsche 911 Turbo?
A super nice, trusting guy I guess! Thanks, it made their year!
We met and took pictures at a beautiful home, but it was too hard competing with all the other parents in the limited space, so this is the best group shot I captured.
The boys!
His darling date Abbey. He has been great friends with her for years.
And one with mom, his favorite.

We walked to Temple Square for our photo walk today.
During the weekend the conference provided models for us to practice with.
This was a darling couple.

I have been anxious for this day since February!
Rhonda & I attended the Click Away Photography conference at the Salt Palace in SLC.
We learned so much.
We were about halfway back and listening to Elizabeth Gilbert, author of Eat, Pray, Love. She gave a great talk on embracing our creativity.

We can't believe we fit this into our day but it was a great experience for these kids. They were very helpful and happy (no singing though). My cute friend and I have been working on our food storage and 72-hour kits for a couple of weeks. When I called to borrow a can of tomato soup (a while ago) and she was out, we decided that it was time to restock. Our last food storage came in very handy in a time of need.
We are having potato pearls for dinner tonight!!!

Yesterday while we were watching lacrosse practice, this girl and her BFF went to play at the park. When they returned they looked like this. Apparently they crashed a huge birthday party, had their faces and arms painted, wore a balloon flower bracelet, and rode a pony.
Before her bath today she asked for a picture. Party crasher!
