two hundred fifty-six

We were so sad it was the last day of our conference.  Next year... here we come! Along with all the knowledge we learned, meeting moms from all over the country was a highlight.  They loved Utah and it's beauty, and we were proud to call it our home.

 Tonight was homecoming for Z!
Who lends two teenage boys their Porsche 911 Turbo?
A super nice, trusting guy I guess! Thanks, it made their year!
We met and took pictures at a beautiful home, but it was too hard competing with all the other parents in the limited space, so this is the best group shot I captured.
 The boys!
His darling date Abbey.  He has been great friends with her for years.
And one with mom, his favorite.

two hundred fifty-five

We walked to Temple Square for our photo walk today.
During the weekend the conference provided models for us to practice with.
This was a darling couple.

 September 11, 2014
I have been anxious for this day since February!
Rhonda & I attended the Click Away Photography conference at the Salt Palace in SLC.
We learned so much.
We were about halfway back and listening to Elizabeth Gilbert, author of Eat, Pray, Love. She gave a great talk on embracing our creativity.

Pizzas, Rita's Gelatis, and Cake cupcakes? Three locations?
That's how we do it for my older sister's birthday lunch! So yummy!

A beautiful hike in the Red Rock Canyon and Serendipity Frrrrozen Hot Chocotate…of course!!
Super fun and super tiring day!

This mother our ours was a determined trooper!  She made it up the 1.25 mile rock climbing hike (and back down again… total of 2 1/2 miles).  Her theme was "THE HIKE WAS GREAT AT 78!)
