2015 forty-two

Tonight we attended the Host Party with our Chinese students

We had a thanksgiving style meal, watched a video of pictures of the trip, watched a cultural dance (Elizabeth included), and then some of the students and families spoke about their experience.  

Brooklyn went up and told everyone how much she loved having Elizabeth stay with us and how fun she was.  It was so cute and BRAVE.

At home we gathered the troops and took a family picture with Elizabeth.  It was one of the few times we were all together.  I set the camera on the timer. 

Later I got a text from Elizabeth with several pictures like this one.  I was laughing.  My girls were good at getting her out of her shell.

We were so sad it was the last day of our conference.  Next year... here we come! Along with all the knowledge we learned, meeting moms from all over the country was a highlight.  They loved Utah and it's beauty, and we were proud to call it our home.

 Tonight was homecoming for Z!

 We met and took pictures at a beautiful home, but it was too hard competing with all the other parents in the limited space, so this is the best group shot I captured.

Closing night for Broadway Kidz!

Her brothers and dad loved every minute of it!

After my computer was not working for over a month, I spent most of the day catching up on my blog.

I was glad to take a break and watch her third performance!  

 She really wanted some pictures with her BK friends.  

Today the boys rode to a beautiful waterfall.

 She was very excited for her second performance because the audience was filled with friends, cousins, Aunt Kass and Grandma!

 Meanwhile, down south…someone was floating the Colorado river.

We packed M and sent him down south for a Vasity Scout adventure.  His scout leader e-mailed me some fun pictures.

And the time is finally here!!!

  We were the ticket takers tonight but still enjoyed the show!

She had so much fun performing, I loved all her facial expressions.

While we were on Trek she was asked to be in a photo shoot for the Broadway Kidz advertisements.  Thank goodness Grandma can still whip up a killer princess hair-do! 

Today she received these post card to handout to her family and friends.  She is loving it!

It's almost here!  We spent a lot of the day at their dress rehearsal.

Sweethearts Dance!

I was so sad that I was not able to take pictures of them tonight.  I took the younger kids to a lax practice.  He texted these to me from his phone and I love them! (Except for the scary eyes)
