Started my picture a day project today and am excited about it!

Earmuffs & A Missing Tooth!

All she really wanted for Christmas was earmuffs!  She received two pair (one from mom and these from Santa)  and she wears them A LOT! She also lost her tooth that has been wiggly for months!  Mom yanked it out at The Jett's basketball game.  Showed everyone she has ever met.  An exciting day!

Actually we drove the long 11 hours home, but I loved this picture of them playing lacrosse on the beach with the surfer in the background.  Missing the sun already.

After a hard day of lacrosse, we enjoyed some local pizza and a walk on the beach.

While we were on our walk, I suggested asking someone to take a picture of all of us.  No one liked my idea so Jim tried taking it of all of us.  I love the view of the beach in the background!  So funny and actually pretty cute!

After this I did ask someone to take our picture, but I love this one more!

After we left the two girls in Las Vegas with the T's, we headed to southern California (Del Mar) for another lacrosse tournament with their club team. All three boys had a great tournament.  This picture is of Z ripping and then scoring for his team.  You can see the line of recruiters watching him.

Jim found a team from San Diego for The Jett to play on.  He had a great weekend and tore it up on offense and defense.  This is the only time he was sent to the "naughty box" after laying out another kid.  Their team won the championship and he was welcomed to play with them when ever he could!

Day two was actually December 31st.  We were traveling to California on the 2nd so I am posting a couple fun pictures of the kids while we were down South.

Happy New Year! Yes I am going to attempt and succeed in another picture a day project this year.  As I looked back on 2010, I loved seeing a glimpse of everyday and I wanted to have that again.  I also saw a creative side of myself that I have been lacking, therefore I'm up for the challenge.

We spent another great year end vacation down South with the P's and T's.  This photo is from the annual New Year's Eve party we love to attend.  B fell asleep at 11:00, she looks a little tired in this picture, but we had a wonderful night.

I love my beautiful girls.  I am the luckiest mom.

Week 13 - Ice Trees

I spent the week in Michigan with my mother for my Uncle's funeral.  Although the trip was not under the best of circumstances, it was great to get to know cousins that I haven't seen in years.  

My mom and I were in awe at all the ice, it was everywhere.  It had rained the day we arrived then froze.  As we drove around town, the trees sparkled like diamonds.  It was a beautiful sight and something I have never experienced.  I wish I would have brought my nice camera.

Week 11- Screaming Girls

Dance moms and dance girls spent our Friday afternoon at the Justin Bieber movie "Never Say Never".  And yes we loved it!  Moms and all.  When is he coming in concert?

Week 10 - The FPG-9

This is the Model FPG-9 airplane.  These boys are attending a merit badge fair next weekend and had to pass off making this model for their aviation merit badge.  They had a great time in the backyard with all kinds of competitions.  Best landing, coolest flight, best turns, longest flight, etc.  After I took several pictures, they decided to paint them black.  Now they look really cool!

Week 9 - Undefeated

"You be goalie now!"

He has had a great indoor soccer season.  They are undefeated and even beat another team that was undefeated and were really good.  It is still so funny to watch these little guys and I love how serious they all are.  Do you like the shin guards with short socks and the mountain water shoes?  At least they stay on his feet.  One game he took his shoe laces out and tried to play.  His shoes were flying off every second so I snatched Z's shoe strings from his shoes.
