Today we visited my father and sister's grave, a must!

Then we ate lunch at Delsa's Ice Cream Parlor and watched the last lacrosse game.

Another win (12-8) against a Las Vegas team.

After church with my brother & sister-in-law, we spent the afternoon relaxing on the beach and eating until it was time to head to the airport.

This morning Jim and I flew to Southern California for his Co-worker's wedding.

It was on a yacht off of Balboa Island and a great evening.

We always score with Dad's work parties and this one was a hit! He scored 40 Lagoon tickets and we used them all but 1! I only have one picture of the older boys and all their friends but they had a ton of fun! I left my camera home because it was cold and rained a little, iPhone had to do.

Free AMAZING FACE PAINTING included.

I have never been to Lagoon durning Frightmares, and it was a little scary. Spooky characters were dressed up all over the park and loved to chase the younger kids.

Other than the fact that is was a little cold for my comfort and my hamburger and hot chocolate didn't sit well after three roller coasters, it was the perfect night and the kids had so much fun! Thanks DAD:)

I don't know if I was feeling super crafty or super sad that this is Z's last year home, but I put together Back to School Survival Kits and gave them to the kids right before father's blessings.

I think they were a little surprised. This grumpy end of the summer mom did something fun.

It was a special evening and a tradition I look forward to every year (father's blessings).

It was also Jim's birthday today!

I feel so blessed & lucky to be married to this great man!

It was a relaxing day catching up on our sleep. We ate dinner at the Gourmet Mexican Restaurant at our resort and received special treatment with dessert being made right at our table! Fresh strawberries cooked in a caramel sauce.

three hundred sixty-five

Happy New Year!

We spent New Year's Eve at a local party and danced the night away! Well, half of us. The little ones turned in early but the older kids had a great time dancing with as many girls as possible. I loved being a fly on the wall as I was able to watch these kids full of energy, life, and laughter.

Wow! I can't believe I did it! 365 days of pictures! This project was definitely a challenge for me but I am extremely glad that I followed through and made it to the end. I love that I have a picture from everyday of 2010 and would encourage anyone who is considering this challenge to go for it! As for 2011, I think I will do a picture a week and keep up on my family blog. Thanks for joining me in my fun adventure!
