More pool time!

 And then a yummy dinner before we traveled to California! 

We left at 8:00 pm and arrived at midnight.  Kids were awesome as they watched Frozen then all fell asleep.

 Yay! It's Spring Break!

We woke up early and sent the four boys off to the airport (Dad included) and then got in the car and headed for Las Vegas for a girls trip!
We did a little shopping and a little swimming.

So excited that it was warm enough to swim!

Today was crazy "get ready for our vacations" day and I didn't take a picture.  But SOMEONE did!

We started out our day attending my cousin (Trina) son's baptism.

I was very excited to see my Aunt Marge and Uncle Steve who drove from Grand Junction CO.  I haven't seen Aunt Marge since her bike accident and loved visiting with her.

 Then it was off to the salon for B girl's birthday party.

First, they had their nails painted.

 Then, hair & make-up!

 After we came back to the house for an ice cream cake, present opening and a photo shoot!

It was a great day!

This lucky seven year old basically had two birthday celebrations!

It was funny to look down at these crazy dancers in front of the entire crowd.

Tonight they played their old school and new rivalry!

These are all their great friends, and a fun game.   We won 17-8.

Happy Birthday to my 7 year old!

She has been planning this day for 10 months!

So happy she is a part of our family!

Goodbye beautiful London!  We loved our time there and hope to return someday!

The flight home was good as I was able to catch up on my movies, 6 to be exact.

Jim did go to his conference today and I slept in!

When he returned we walked around the city again and toured the museum.

I clicked a quick picture in the museum with my phone…shhhh.

We probably walked four miles, then grabbed a cab ride back to our hotel and had a nice dinner.

I also loved watching our two sons play their lacrosse game live from 2:00-3:30 in the morning.  Jim laughed when I started clapping and screaming for joy.  I was quiet after that.

They won by the way :)

Well we slept in until 1:00 and got a late start but still had a great time exploring London.  

Buckingham Palace has a new Queen!

 And a new Royal Guard!

 We even toured the Royal Mews (Pretty cool carriages!)

We ended the day with "Wicked".  Loved it!

As I mentioned before we arrived in London at 6:00 a.m. Sunday morning

That's 11:00 p.m. Mountain time and we had not slept…at all!

So, we had two options.  Go to the hotel and sleep or jump on a tour bus and visit the country for an 11 hour tour.  Yep! Option #2…we spent 11 hours touring the Hampton Court Palace, Stonehenge, and the city of Bath.

We snoozed for an hour as we drove to Stonehenge.

There we asked a kind lady to take our picture.

This is what I saw after three attempts.

We laughed for 30 minutes.  Sooo funny and typical!

I did ask another kind lady and she did much better.  

Very windy and cold, but beautiful. They were smaller than I imagined too.

 Last stop…and still moving!

So glad we went and we slept very well that night!

Goodbye America!

(Boston, MA)

Jim & I were lucky to travel to London England this week.  He attended a conference and I took the opportunity to tag along! We left Saturday morning and arrived in London at 6:00 a.m. Sunday (11:00 p.m. our time)

Throughout the day I received all these darling pictures from each friend helping with the kids.  So cute and not planned.  It felt strange all being separated.

Yep... spent the entire day cooking and cleaning and loved having all 30 of them over for dinner.

I'm loving this team.  Great group of boys.
