Time to get Prepared!

I did a little shopping today and even made an appointment at the Dry Pack Cannery for next week.   

$500 towards our food storage.  It feels so good!

Gotta love case lot sales, saved us $350.

Z got his answer tonight from his Homecoming date.

They dropped off these posters and some milkshakes from IN-N-OUT a few weeks ago .

Happy Labor Day!

Two boys went river rafting, one girl went on a hike, and another boy had football practice.  It was a mellow day for Jim & I.

It's been awhile since we have had a Sunday dinner and get together.  Thanks to my sister being in town we met at my mom's for her famous lasagna and family fun.

 Cheetah races are a must!

 And my boys beat their cousin for the first time ever!  They were pumped!

 She bothered her cousins all night.  I had to keep putting her on time out so she would leave them alone.

 Jordann accepted the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge from her niece.

 And Jim accepted the handstand challenge.  Although Z won.

Big brother giving a little football advice! He scored, won, and had a great game today.

After the game and family lunch at the Old Spaghetti Factory, I received a call from one of my dearest friends from AZ asking me to meet her at a store.  We met, sat and talked in this spot for long time!  It was so fun to catch up.

First football scrimmage for our little guy.  They killed them!

Then a small pizza for lunch, NOT!  We love The Pie!

 Later that day these boys took the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge from their cousin.

 Along with this cute girl. Thanks to Z, mom and dad also took the challenge, but I'm not posting pictures.

We had fun decorating Pink's locker.  We even made the mirror with fancy ribbon. I wish I had a picture of my teddy bear decorated locker I had in Jr. High.

And finally…the first day of school for these two elementary students.

Let's just say, I hope the rest of the year goes better than this morning.  We were late on the first day
