Our first day of Trek! Jim and the boys landed from Boston at 10:30 a.m. and met me at the church. M went to his Surgery appointment with Grandma and B met with friends and drove straight to Denver for another lacrosse tournament.
Day 1 of Trek: Walked about 5 miles, stopped for a couple vignettes, set up our tents in the rain, ate Cafe Rio salads, square danced, and had our family devotional before bed. We had M sleep in our tent with us so we could give him his medications.

Quite a unique experience for the group except maybe the Cafe Rio dinner!
Cafe Rio dinner?! That doesn't sound very pioneerish to me. :) Looks like a great day though.
